The reason for this is that Windows protects the C:\Program Files location and you may have trouble saving the game and/or game settings. Avoid installing the game to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86). ![]() For example, a guy installed the game to a folder with the letter 'Ä', but the game interprets this as 'A', and it will not run. Note: Do not use non-English characters in the game folder (entire path)! You should only use a-z, A-Z, 0-9, ' ', '-' and '_'. If you don't, you will not be able to run and/or patch the game!
